Team Up 2 Clean Up (T2C)

We are passionate about fostering a cleaner environment and stronger communities. Our T2C events, held monthly, bring together volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to clean streets and public areas, making a tangible impact on our environment while enjoying the great outdoors.

T2C’s mission is to bring people together to enhance public spaces, foster community spirit, and promote environmental stewardship for the wellbeing of all. Our efforts build stronger communities, connect with new people, and encourage care for Mother Earth. We provide tools and refreshments for all our volunteers, along with practical waste disposal tips; all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference.

Waste Education at Events

• Look out for our stall at public events where we engage the community about the principles of 9Rs to achieve the ‘Zero Waste by 2040’ aspiration of New Zealand.
• Pledge to do any of the following to show your care for the wellbeing of Mother Earth:
  RETHINK your lifestyle choices
  REFUSE to buy things you do not need
  REDUCE by choosing ‘less is more’
  REUSE by giving items a second chance
  REFILL your empty containers or jars
  REPAIR to save money
  REGIFT your unwanted gift
  RECYCLE wisely by sorting plastic, paper, cans, and glass
  RECONNECT with nature. She’s been waiting for you all along.
