MISSION

Earth Action Trust strives to support communities in becoming effective stewards of the environment. The organisation empowers individuals to embrace their connection to the natural world, fostering a culture where the health of the Mother Earth and the well-being of humanity are seen as one and the same.

GOALS

• Run programmes to reduce waste, aiming for New Zealand to be zero-waste by 2040.​
• Acknowledge New Zealand’s cultural diversity and include it in all Trust activities. ​
• Provide education on sustainability and environmental protection that respects cultural differences. ​
• Respect the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and consider Māori traditions in all Trust actions. ​
• Conduct research on reducing and eliminating waste. ​
• Support and work with organizations that aim for zero waste in New Zealand. ​
• Engage in activities that support the Trust’s goals.
